No impact a possibility?
Just watched No Impact Man, a very interesting documentary about living without impacting the environment. While I doubt I could do this it does give me a lot of insights and ideas on decreasing consumption and waste.  From the No Impact Blog about the year plan to go without.  “You hear of one study saying that the energy used washing ceramic coffee cups is as damaging to the...

Another day gone, another memory lost
The more I learn of the present and the potential future the more I seem to disconnect from what was. Can we ever be again? I don’t feel sentimental but I do sometimes feel that while I’m gaining more in some regards I’m losing what I had. I had a great deal of uncertainty, this isn’t to say I didn’t know what I had…which I probably didn’t. Linguistics...

Whoo break
So tomorrow morning I leave for Chitown. Hopefully it’ll be an epic adventure. I’m looking forward to this a lot. I figured I’d leave with a little WTF since I don’t have too much of content today. How would you not notice? And why would you keep driving once you lifted off the ground?

Productive Day
actually its been anything but. Watched a lot of BSG though. Almost done with season 4. Also been finishing the final touches on the plans for my trip to Chicago. I’m hoping it’ll be a great time I’m just hoping minor hang ups and timing issues don’t end up turning into larger problems. The current itinerary is the Field Museum, checking into the Inn of Chicago, getting...

Interesting Morning
So I got on campus a little early and was wandering around waiting for class to start. I decide to use the facilities in the Math Sciences building and what do I see… Picture unrelated…mostly A guy standing at the sink drinking a beer. As soon as he saw me he downs the rest of it. Tosses the can in the trash and walks out like nothing. I wonder if that was his method of studying...

Carl Jung - Liber Novus (The Red Book) →
“The Red Book was a product of a technique developed by Jung which he termed active imagination. As Jung described it, he was visited by two figures, an old man and a young woman, who identified themselves as Elijah and Salome. They were accompanied by a large black snake.” -Wikipedia

Queen of Blades
Blizzard hurry the frak up. I dream of the swarm everyday now. Actually as I’m thinking about it maybe I shouldn’t be too hasty about getting SC2. The reason why…I haven’t completed a game in ages. I keep getting distracted with new shiny things. Here’s a brief list on games I need to finish. Divinity II: Ego Draconis, Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 2, Borderlands and...
